I started from scratch and created a new type of market program, AFAIK. Like a market lister, it retrieves info about equipment and commodities. Unlike a market lister, it only displays item info for production stations. It goes even further and displays the required ingredients to manufacture the item as well as the quantity of those ingredients in the production facilities. The ingredients themselves take you to their own production info if you click on them. It will loop all the way down to base commods. So give it a test drive and feel free to give an opinion or point out a flaw. Other thanthat, it is what it is. :grin:

Cool. But really what I'd like to see is an easy to navigate tree, all on one page which traces a good back to 1st tier commodities, like:

The key is that it's all on one page, organised into table form. You'd have to be able to collapse/expand links on the tree (e.g. Electronics components in this case). The extra information (weight, cost, etc.) would be hyperlinked so a new small information window is spawned. The Universe item could also be hyperlinked to a new window which displays universe wide commodity availability/price.

Oh, and I'd like the moon on a stick too. wtg

Well, you have to settle for the moon on a stick for now. 8P You can get all that info by clicking on an ingredient and so forth down to base commods. Down the road I'll most likely expand upon it, but I don't want it to become a marketlister.

As far as EU. hmmmm. We are discusing expanding -=MACK=- to EU. Should that happen all my scripts will then be multi server. Plus I'll start up the EU cronjob for Gosips marketlister.

VERY NICE :)- especially enjoy the popups

request: Say we're doing a FM or something and want to keep certain commods safe from mean nasty production cycles. How do we disable station from consuming a commod we want to stockpile?

As in, Can you set up a table like the ones you've done that show me, for a specific station, what commod choices i have to strip in order to prevent a commod, i'm stockpiling, from being consumed?

That sounds like an intrigueing project. Maybe after I finish all the tedium of database entry (I'm sick of browsing through JOSSH) and tie these all together I'll look into it. Or maybe that will unfold itself as I complete the current pieces. :)-
