:Read: rant
anyone read the report?!4681
The number of times they used "public diplomacy" is comical. I didn't know PR spindoctors needed a euphemysm while shoving 'The American Dream' down everyone's throats?

Though i'm curious why the news article this 'Talking Point' is based on neglects to mention "the values of strength of family and religious faith" in the sentence of American Cultural Values, i'm actually more interested why the 'American Dream' isn't referred to...

Personally, i think an institution created just after World War One would hardly be interested in global opinion polls if they're publically surprised noone likes the economic bitter pill they've been forced to swallow for decades...More telling is their blase attitude about the bitterness.

BBC news article
BBC talking point (i wonder if my above comment will make it in there. muaha)

sometimes i wonder about the jingoism prevalent in the very parochial US demographic...i'm sure most Americans are baffled by foreign hatred of The American Way. It's not the people of the USA that are misanthropic, but the corporate "national interests" hiding behind a government shadow.
