First of all, JumpDemon of -=MACK=- squad has made up ship loadouts for all the ships. It's in the early stages, but i recommend checking it out here

What i've done here is collect screenshots of all the ship purchase windows, and used photoshop to patch on the equipment gear window with matching power grid analyzer for optimal gear...FOR EACH MAJOR PATCH VERSION! enjoy. complete with the new format i'll be using for when EP2 arrives.

The "graph" attached with the screenshots shows red=acceleration (vertical bars=300m/s2); blue=velocity (vertical bars=600m/s); yellow=distance (vertical bars=5000m)...with time set at 20seconds...(calculated for ABthrust for nonwpnry/missile/mox loadout)
    You can get BaadF00d's acceleration program (new version) here (If you do fiddle note that modx aren't calculated in the actual ship mass when equipped. dunno if this "bug" has been fixed yet; though fixing missile hitboxes is a priority i suppose)
PLUS, thanks to Gremlin's wireframe frontal for all ships, i've added a true scale size comparison pic of each ship. (thanks go to G_Dragon for starting the whole wireframe thing.)

Of course, special thanks goes out to MadCat for hosting my archives and silly stuff on TWO websites. (thanks goes to the webmaster at OESM for maintaining the tightest site around) Alriiiiiiight! let's rock!!!

The 6.0029 Intensity ran on dual adventa's, but I am unsure how armor translated to mass. I dont recall the ships feeling that heavy - or a sudden lightning of the fighters when the armor was repalced with boosted shields patch, so perhaps the armor mass ratio was different then.

EDIT: hmmm, the 6.0029 Armor values were an anomaly.

They were "fixed" in 6.0030 (the 6.0030 fixes.txt contains an oblique reference to the tow armor being fixed - clearly ships armor accross the board was either wrong, or displaying wrong), anyway - 6.0030 was the patch were the Nix first saw more armor than the other ships :-

how about a boost to the Phoon? (dF 22.2; adventas)
    deepol shown. no wpns/missiles/modx...with thorns one could equip a jug cap for the same power output and shave 1300kg off total mass (current pwr deficit of -4014k would increase to -4531k); with rraks/hitmen the mass would increase 7600kg (current pwr deficit of -5937k would increase to -6454)
unfortunately, this would murder the current PCE-3 speed of 515v cruise by 16v (roughly equivalent to the burn engine [or adventa+PCM-EB3] in speed)...though trying to stuff rush engines on there would add ~4000k pwr/sec drain. (that's alot. a PCP-3 only gains ~900k on the instigator...)
    only way you could power those is to have a PCP3 and a PCM-PB3 (twice as useful as PCM-EE3)...That would give ~30pwr/sec before capacitor&guns...536v cruise
how much does a PCP3 and PCM-PB3 go for? It's moot anyways, with ~30 surplus power before capacitor you're screwed!! ever seen how slow a cap recharges at that input level?

i am soooooo tired. i've got some screenshots and need to take more, but i'm gorfed. nite nite. will do some initial work on the new ships and upload them after i wake up in about 6-8 hours...the rest of the ship pics i'll mull over doing at all. As for the gear? bleh...got to do those too.

yup. confirmed that it's gained 10v and there's something else. they put the size2 on the nose. (nothign else is changed, though i've yet to see profile size updates)
    wait. there is one more thing changed. and that's the ability to mount that big ass aman PP
except the wyvern is still a turkey. though the LM now is available to lvl21, have you seen the exhorbitant price tag?

Working on an updated set of ship loadout recommendations, and will probably have it ready by next week (Tuesday at the latest).

For lack of a better place to host it, I'll be posting it to JGW when finished (with Hornet's help, of course, as it's kinda his site ;) ). Feel free to pick it to pieces once ready... not that y'all require an invitation to do that anyway. :P

(I had no more warning of JGC's disappearing act, a few months back, than J. Random Pilot, and I was on the JGC staff. Not a peep about the JGC shutdown, either.)

Wasn't kicking myself over JGC, just didn't word my post right to make clear it was just a related comment. :)

(I don't do anything online involving creating new content without saving a local copy, not infrequently on paper as well as in a file. A little more effort than just "fire at will", but less stress when something goes Tango-Uniform, as can be the case on the 'net in general.)

Anyhow, loadouts are done (or will be in a few minutes, when I do up the plasma HF loadouts I forgot about before this post :D ), and I dropped a PM to Hornet on the JGW boards.

Not only are the loadouts changed to include the new toys, but better organization of the stats (namely surplus power/gun arrangement, as I got a few messages about the old placement being somewhat confusing shrug ), as well as thrust/mass ratios for all loadouts.

aww crap. they've not updated the stats ingame for the impeller. how many other items are out of whack?!? jeezuz fuck.

according to my calculations it's giving an effective 2490k thrust where the ingame stats say it's above the respect, but not that high (listed 1925k)
    there's nothing in the fixes.txt?!?! WTF shit. nothing *muffy heads to forums to search* WHAT THE FUCK?!!?!? nada
for god's sake, someone please tell me i'm hallucinating!

*until someone here helps me out with the peek-a-boo stats issue i'm putting this project on indefinite hold*

Hm, found myself over here from Lady D's thread on JGW...

The 1925k stat for the Impeller is correct AFAIK. They changed the dF of several ships (LFs, MFs, and the Premia XL) to get the better topspeeds, not sure about the masses, tbh.

I wish I had a pair of Pellers @2490k (i.e. better than a PCE-3) for my phoon. :)
