I especially like the suggestion that :help be locked out.
And my time in JumpGate is dwindling to a close. In 2 days Neocron comes out and I will be spening my time there.
So what's UMEC up to these days? I saw Bagger88 a few times, but that's about it.

It's alot of fun. Things I like:
Better quality equipment in the game is only available from other players who research and construct it. Item shops only sell the lowest grade items.
Environment is immersive. I sat in my apartment and looked out the window watching the rain fall. In a game.
Content. There is ALOT to do in this game. I was never bored once during open beta.
Tanks. Big ones with big guns. One player drives, and one is gunner with 2 passengers. During beta we had a battle that would have made Rommel proud.
The Demo is a little misleading, but I think that's because it was marketed toward DeusEx/System Shock fans (there's cutscenes in the demo, none in retail)
And of course, strippers. _________________ Jesus saves, the rest of you take 5d20 damage. |

ooooooooo..system shock one! (played system shock on a laptop in the wee hours of the morn' while plugged into a cross country ski ticket booth power outlet)you warm up if you drap something over your laptop and you...hehe. no sound/no colour, but the cooooolest story i've ever been immersed in. (loved SS2, and for some reason i breezed the game) Course, i also played privateer one that way too. (1995-7)
you telling me Neocron is catering to ss fans? (never played deus ex) |
