Hello mf,
My widget thingumi is still alive and well at http://www.capsu.org/jumpgate/
(or http://jg.capsu.org/ for the lazy). I'm just doing an update now for the
latest equipment/commodities. Maybe you can update your FAQ entry that shows
it nuked. Please let me know if you get this, because I'm not sure if this
is just a throwaway account, or you actually read it. Also, if anyone else
wants to host it, I'm open to suggestions.

Thanks for the listing MajorFreak. I was wondering if you knew of a shortest path program for JG. I know that Orion faction has one but I have yet to be able to get the $^%*# thing to install on my computer. So, if you know of a shortest path prog, I and the other speed freak racers would greatly appreciate it. Thanks! :D _________________ Dave?

Hi MajorFreak,
Thanks for helping me out with this and sorry it's taken me a couple of days to get this info back to you. Here's my system specs as of 04JUL02:
Intel P3 @ 866 MHz running Windows Me v 4.90.3000
BIOS version A06
512 Mb RAM
ATI Rage 128 Pro with DirectX 8.0a (Video card has most recent drivers)
Creative Labs PCI sound card (Not sure of exact model)
and I'm not really sure what else you might need. It's been a while since I've had to dredge up the specs on my computer and it's also kinda late. If I can think of or find anything else, I'll let you know. Also, if you need anything else, just ask and I'll find it for ya. Thanks again for the help. _________________ Dave?

There's ONLY one JGpaths out there, i think. (truth be told, i don't run any 3rd party programs)i'm sure someone from orionfaction has or will see this thread soon |

I'd like to note that the QPC profit calculator can also calculate the shortest paths (or flight times, minimize distance vs. minimize jumps) for your ship (incl. its load etc.). |

Not quite a Jumpgate Addon, OpenOffice is an open source office suite that - for relevency here, can open and edit excel files. Its (a) free, and (b) if you can do somethign in MS Office - you can probably do it in OpenOffice too.

Based off of some replys I have seen, this is just a small reminder about the BountyReport program that I made. - This program gives you at a glance what the current PvP status of the server is in.
- A List of the current online bountied piltos and if they are docked or in space.
- An active HG report
- Sortable display.
- Instant links to pilots/squads JOSSH web pages

nVidia Jump Blindness FIX
I have finally taken the time to fix the ONE thing that nVidia owners have complained about forever. Now you can jump through a gate and not get that irritating ghosting/blindness that almost whites everything out.
This is NOT a fix for multiple ships jumping at once blindness. For that see the file that Rolltrain posted some time ago.
You can get the file here....
http://www.theddz.com/files/pafiledb.php?action=category&id=2
Comments are welcome at the download page.
While there take a look at the new Engine sound that I made a long time ago that actually loops properly. Goodbye to sounding like you are running over a railroad track.
I have a mining laser replacement sound. Made especially for those that like to use voice comm programs while playing.
There is also a 10 SECOND FlashFire sound replacement. Instead of the normal 4 or 5 second sound that came with the game. This sound extends the full length of the actual FF.
Enjoy the files. |
