It seems your database upgrade failed somehow and corrupted the timestamps. Restore the old tables and try to upgrade again. |
you think that'll nuke our post-upgrade posts? If you think that's the case is it possible to save our current posts and THEN do what he suggested? or have you tried that route already?
I'm gonna ask some more questions later on tonight too...using that same thread. |

I'm just gonna repair it manually.
It's gonna take some time though
gonna do 10 days worth of old posts every day till it's done, starting with the most recent
the problem occured when the upgrade script tried to convert the old timestamp table, formated as yyyy-mm-dd hh:mm, to the UNIX style ssssssssss (seconds since the begining of the century)
so I have to manually convert the timestamp from the backup done just before the upgrade, then paste that conversion into the new db, for every post. Wich is why I'm only gonna do 10 days worth at a time
The dates are gonna be close to what they were but prolly won't be perfect, I have no way of knowing what timezone was used to record them. I'm assuming GMT, wich is the default for the new forum, but I could be wrong. _________________ MadCat

Gossip comments from IRC chat:
<Gossip> WAH! One big insert... damn. This requires creative coding.
<Gossip> Don't worry, I'll be done in 20 mins anyways. _________________ MadCat

Hi,
If you open posting_smilies.tpl and find this code;
Code: |
<!-- BEGIN smilies_col -->
<td><a href="javascript:emoticon('{smilies_row.smilies_col.SMILEY_CODE}')"><img src="{smilies_row.smilies_col.SMILEY_IMG}" border="0" alt="{smilies_row.smilies_col.SMILEY_DESC}" title="{smilies_row.smilies_col.SMILEY_DESC}" width="15" height="15" /></a></td> |
And change it to this code (just remove the width & height);
Code: |
<!-- BEGIN smilies_col -->
<td><a href="javascript:emoticon('{smilies_row.smilies_col.SMILEY_CODE}')"><img src="{smilies_row.smilies_col.SMILEY_IMG}" border="0" alt="{smilies_row.smilies_col.SMILEY_DESC}" title="{smilies_row.smilies_col.SMILEY_DESC}" /></a></td> |
All should be fine :) |
WWWWWEEEEEEEEEEEEE IT WORKED!
